Leadership and Resiliency workshops provide Philly Project P.R.I.D.E. Inc. a safe and welcoming platform for students and adults to express, explore, and evaluate many of the stressors that hinder personal and community development.

Academic Skill Development is primary to our student’s future and a core component of Philly Project P.R.I.D.E. Inc. Even though all participating students have access to these resources, those who attend the Saturday Academy are allotted a few hours to work diligently with an online SAT/ACT/PSAT college preparatory resource center, learn Spanish from computer based program, and become exposed to various strategies and skills that will enhance their academic achievement (study skills, time management, and basic skill development).

Athletics is a means Philly Project P.R.I.D.E. Inc. uses to develop and support personal and community development. All drills and activities are designed to foster sportsmanship and increase individual and community confidence.

Saturday Academy is an extension of the leadership and resiliency workshops that take place within six schools.  Participants have an array of options to choose from such as computer repair, rites of passage, and academic/college preparedness support. Philly Project P.R.I.D.E. Inc. offers the later, academic/college preparedness supports along with leadership and resiliency, community development, and a service learning projects.
