Mission Statement
Philly Project P.R.I.D.E. Inc. mission is to crystallize its motto "Personal Recognition Ignites Deliberate Emotions" through relevant innovative leadership and resiliency principles that undergird student and adult strengths and humaneness as lifelong learners for social justice.
Philosophy
Philly Project P.R.I.D.E. Inc. purports that no community is worth more than the production of its children. Hence the philosophy of Philly Project P.R.D.E. Inc. is to afford its constituents a safe and respectful platform to ignite deliberate emotions that will enhance their perceptions of self, school, community and the world.
Objectives
a). To expand the diameter of each participant's understanding of self, their environment, and commitment to educational excellence through a series of introspective workshops, dialogs, and projects.
b). To increase the academic proficiency of its participants by means of an online resources such as SAT/ACT/PSAT course, Rosetta Stone foreign language software, academic skill development through tutoring, and cooperative learning modalities.
c). To enhance literacy and public speaking skills through service learning projects.
d). To advance personal, familial, and community accountability through project learning.
