Born and raised in Middletown Connecticut, Kenny Perry has worked as an Account Representative at Peterson’s, directed a Talent Search Program at the University of Pennsylvania, served as a managing coordinator for GEAR UP, and worked as a direct service coordinator for College Access.
Prior to becoming an advocate and broker to higher education for families and students of underserved populations, Mr. Perry had worked as an admissions counselor at Neumann College. From that vantage point, he began to understand that the disparate treatment poor people received was not aligned solely to color and gender.
Currently, Mr. Perry is the President of Philly Project P.R.I.D.E. Inc. His organization serves students and families from several Philadelphia public schools providing leadership and resiliency strategies to students and professionals.
Affirming his motto everyday, “No community is greater than the production of its children,” Mr. Perry firmly contends that Personal Recognition Ignites Deliberate Emotions and from this philosophy, personal and community growth is imminent.
"Humanity, leadership and resiliency are in your DNA. Now feed it purpose, principle, and power."
